Dr Scott (Marshall) Westover

Dr Westover is an American podiatrist who carried out the majority of his podiatric medical training in the United States and the United Kingdom.

 

Scott started his medical career in the United States Air Force whilst stationed in the UK. During this time he qulified as both a paramedic and a nurse assisting in the Gulf War. 

 

Upon leaving the United States Air Force, Scott retrained as a Podiatrist at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and The University of Brighton where he obtained a BSc (Hons) in Podiatric Medicine.

 

Upon completion of his degree Scott worked in the UK's National Health Service, beginning his podiatry career as Staff Grade Podiatrist, moving to Senior Podiatrist and eventually elevating to Clinical Director / General Manager; all whilst servicing 5 Private Podiatry Practices.

 

He arrived here in Port Hedland in September of 2011 from the United Kingdom where he continues to fulfill the role of Regional Podiatrist with the WA Country Health Service and is currently in the role of Clinical Co-Lead Diabetes and Endocrinology Network in The Department of Health WA.

Dr Westover is dedicated to lifelong learning, he is a second year general medical student at Oceana University of Medicine and is looking forward to completing his MD Degree and to finally becoming a GP in the Town of Port Hedland.
